IMP is Recruiting – Marine Account Manager

IMP is a well-established UK based distributor of international brands to the marine and residential industries, and is the exclusive distributor for many leading brands including Andersen Winches, Bamar, BCM, Gebo, Nomen, Olcese Ricci, Ronstan, Seaview, Shadow-Caster and Vimar.

As a consequence of our ongoing sales growth, IMP is looking for a dedicated and self-motivated marine sales professional to promote our products to new and existing customers.

Key responsibilities

1. Developing sales of the company’s marine hardware products throughout the UK from a wide range of markets including Boat Builders, Designers, Dealers, Refitters and Chandleries.
2. Develop and manage existing accounts and maximising their potential while also critically identifying and developing new accounts and markets.
3. Manage larger projects and key decision makers to maintain specification through to final order.
4. Growing revenues and meeting sales targets and KPI’s across all main sectors and product categories.
5. Attending exhibitions and seminars to develop both business and self.
6. Liaise with customer, suppliers and colleagues regarding sales targets and project liaison.

Experience and skills

1. Must have experience and contacts within the marine specification market with experience selling similar technical marine products.
2. Proven ability to develop both existing accounts and new business.
3. Must be able to work as part of a team and be self motivated.
4. Be a professional sales person with a proven track record of success.
5. Be able to work to strict targets and organised with a desire to succeed
6. Be technically minded and be able to learn and adjust to developing technologies and products.
